What i know is that Google is still a 'link-based' search engine 'under-the-hood' but it takes so much more to stick a website at the top of search engine results pages (SERPs) in 2019 than it used to. Links are evidently still VERY important in 2019, and historic patents give us an indication of the link analysis Google might do.
